Product Inspections for Quality Assurance

Any product purchased from Specialty Sling Company can be inspected upon request to ensure safety and quality. Each item will be inspected for safe usage and you will be informed of the results as to whether or not it will need to be pulled from service and replaced by new merchandise.

Sling Identification: Tractability of Nylon Slings

If requested, we can assign a serial number to each sling you purchase. The serial number will be stamped on the leather tags along with the safe rated weight capacities for that particular product. The number is then recorded and put on file with the lot number of the webbing from that manufacturer.

The webbing manufacturer proof tests each lot of webbing material and puts copies of this test on file which can be made available to customers upon request.

Testing and Sling Certificates

At Specialty Sling Company we have our nylon slings randomly tested by a reliable vendor with the results on file, which are available upon request along with a sling certificate*. Sling certificates state that the products meet or exceed all safety standards in accordance with rated capacity and safety factors.
